This was very sweet to read. It's nice to see Xander still being himself but having gained some maturity in that he could see how interrupting an intensely private act would change it.

And, BTW, your remade porn titles are made of win.

Of course, it's very possible Giles only digs Xander later, post-18th birthday. But then, once he started digging legal Xander, might he not look back on 17, or 16yo Xander with different eyes? Would Giles who now dates 20yo Xander be allowed to fantasise using memories of 16yo Xander? And once Xander's past 18, is he not supposed to have fantasies of himself set before 18? And when it's all in their heads, what does it matter? And since this is all fiction, which is in *our* heads, what does it matter?

Oh that's delicious. I love Xander thinking about Giles doing it through the years. And that he has a plan for that night when he gets home.

Speaking of, please do feel free to write that too! I'm sure we all want to know what Xander's secret will turn out to be. Private office at the Council? Port-a-potty on a construction site? I know I'm curious!

This is lovely, lovely, a mature but still goofy Xander and while the imagery is hot, the focus is really on the relationship, the feelings. Lovely.

Thank you! I was a little worried about hitting that balance, because once I had Xander joking around, it was kind of hard to segue into a more serious tone for the sexy bits. Glad to hear you thought it worked!
