I hate it when people offhandedly use the word "gay" to mean lame or inconsequential.
I've spent years yelling at people for this one. I don't ever stop myself from leaping on them and yelling.
I think you always look wonderful, and if dressing for yourself gives you that confidence, then that's your business and boo to those who try to drag you down.
Ah, good creme brulee is terrific. I like getting to use a little flamethrower as well.
Why wouldn't you want people to look at you, you have put a lot of time and effort and creative thought into the way you dress? It is the same as wanting people to look at a particularly satisfying bit of visual art (which it is, visual art, that is).
I think that use of the word "gay" is at least partly a generational thing, but I certainly don't understand or approve of it. Its just inconceivable to me how anyone could NOT think its homophobic at all.
