I'm thinking BBB may not happen this year. I really want to participate, and I had a good time with it last year, but I am so ridiculously unmotivated. I even have a vague plot idea about a marching band AU where Spencer and Brendon don't really know each other, but they both try out for drum major and Spencer gets lead and Brendon gets second,

1. Your BBB idea sounds fantastic. I will be very sad if it doesn't work out.

2. I say all the time that I want to take a weekend vacation where I rent a hotel room and forget the rest of the world exists for a few days. I think it's totally normal to want to just get up and go at times.

3. Seriously. I wasn't in band but I was on the dance team and we took lots of trips with the band and I think this story would be amaaaazing. Anything I can do to help it along?

I know if I wasn't co-writing I would be screwed for BBB. I have such a lack of motivation! I keep opening google docs and writing 500-1000 words of story and then getting bored and never opening the doc again. Discipline, I need it!

Oh, a marching band AU!!! As a former band geek, that idea appeals to me.

I've been feeling like I need to get away lately, too. When my tax return comes in, I think I'm going to buy myself a ticket somewhere I've never been and spend a couple of days.

I have definitely been having some trouble since the change. I've had about a success rate of maybe 1/10 attempts to upload a file. Most days I just don't have that patience so I just go with option SendSpace, which works fine but expires far far far too quickly. :(

It's awesome things are okay, even if mildly weird with the insane urges and everything. ♥

I say take the road trip if you have the chance, though, because real life breaks just have to happen sometimes.
