I was having such a good day, and then it all kind of went to hell. Oh, well. It happens.

Anyway, to cheer myself up, I've been looking at things that make me happy. In other words, pictures of band boys. BUT. The most happy making thing I've run across today?

THAT PICTURE MAKES ME HAPPY, but the Oval is SO BARE! I've never seen it like that. :(

I know, I thought the same thing! But then I realized that mostly my impression of it is from The West Wing, and that's probably not the most accurate portrayal of it.

Well, I can see that there were things in the room that aren't there (like there's dirt on the walls those are the doors, OOPS!) and the carpet is missing on the floor at least (those are the two things I know belong in that room, regardless of TV.)

Seriously, I LOVE the Emanuel brothers. Mainly because the three of them are running the country (one actually running the country, one runs Hollywood and one runs the NIH cancer division) Their mother must be SO proud!

I am so glad we have a pretty president again. Charisma, brains and looks? Sign me up for C-SPAN!

What's been making me happy... hmmm... I was at boring boring work when I wanted to be at home writing fic, BUT, I am now working at a bakery and today I got a free loaf of bread AND a bag of hot cross buns even though it is still only January so that was awesome. :D
