I was having such a good day, and then it all kind of went to hell. Oh, well. It happens.

Anyway, to cheer myself up, I've been looking at things that make me happy. In other words, pictures of band boys. BUT. The most happy making thing I've run across today?

THAT PICTURE MAKES ME HAPPY, but the Oval is SO BARE! I've never seen it like that. :(

I know, I thought the same thing! But then I realized that mostly my impression of it is from The West Wing, and that's probably not the most accurate portrayal of it.

Well, I can see that there were things in the room that aren't there (like there's dirt on the walls those are the doors, OOPS!) and the carpet is missing on the floor at least (those are the two things I know belong in that room, regardless of TV.)

I read that they are redoing the office (apparently they do with every president) to sort of reflect the new president. They don't take out the super famous stuff, just change the drapes/carpet/TV kind of stuff and bring things in from other parts of the building.

Yeah, I think they are, I was just under the (apparently wrong) impression that they did that during the inauguration.

oh, man, DITTO. I was like, "that room looked so much smaller when CJ & Josh & Toby & Leo & Sam were all crowded into it."
