Hello! Today I have a drabble for you, the last one I wrote for sd-ldws. The prompt was Scifi and phase/stun gun/laser gun. I also have a question.

When I first got into the fandom I thought I wouldn't manage to write AUs, it didn't seem to fit, even though I love writing them. But now I keep on having more ideas for them!

Hehe it wouldn't be for a while, I have things to finish and things to write but then, who knows? \o/

It's because the rules for this challenge were 400 words maximum. So basically I just wrote a little bit that would fit into something more.

I would TOTALLY read more of this - as I was reading it I was going, "Oh...why is it so short? I want more!"

It was terribly hard to keep it 400 words, I HAD SO MANY IDEAS. And I loved it, but it seems not everybody did since I got booted at this round.

Maybe it was partly because it's hard to introduce a whole new 'verse in 400 words? I'm a Firefly fan and my head instantly started filling in things around it, but maybe if you don't know Firefly it might've been harder? I don't know why it would get you booted--I thought it was fantastic.

I guess it didn't help - I'll have to market this to Firefly fans when/if I end up writing it ^^. It made so much sense to me but it's true that if you know nothing about it, it was probably hard to get it. Ah, well, I still think it's a shame because I like it so much, but at least going to this round gave me this idea! I'm glad if you enjoyed it, even if it's only these 400 words ^^.

Because Chin would totally pilot and Kono would sleep next to the engine and Danny would do anything to protect his Captain Tight Cargoes McGarrett. And Catherine could be a Companion and rfhgvlrbvhgrjl I'D LOVE IT SO MUCH.

This 'verse looks like a lot of fun. What you've written looks like a good jumping off point if you wanted to rework and expand it.
