The 10 Day Prompt Challenge: Day 1
Title: Failure
Prompt: "Try, try, and try again."
Characters/Pairing: Pansy/Theo

Summary: Pansy was sure this was it, but once again, she's failed.
Pansy looked at the test in her hands, staring intently as though doing so would make it reveal it’s results sooner. The minutes passed slowly, but finally, finally, the results were revealed. Her breath caught in her throat, tears filled her eyes, but she still could not take her eyes off those dreaded results.
Slowly, as though she didn’t know what she was doing, she sat on the ground, hugging her knees to her chest.
Negative, again. She’d failed, again.
She’d been so sure that this time would be it. Her period was late, and she and Theo had been trying so hard.
She didn’t even know he’d come in until she felt his arms wrap around her, pulling her against him, rocking her gently as she cried.
“We’ll keep trying,” he whispered.
Pansy held onto him. “I don’t know how many more failures I can handle,” she admitted, her face buried in his chest.
“Pansy,” Theo said softly, anguished. “We will have children, somehow, some way. I promise.”
“Maybe it’s time we went to the healers,” she suggested.
“We can do that, but we’re going to keep trying, right?” he asked. She could hear the smirk in his voice.
