Title: Moving On
Prompt: "What did you expect?"

Summary: Pansy isn't sure how to move on.
“What did you expect, Blaise?” Pansy shouted. “Did you really think that you could slide back into my life, sweep me off my feet, charm me back into your bed?”
Blaise lifted his hands to her arms, soothing as he listened patiently to her. She shook her head, willing the tears in her eyes not to fall. “Did you really think you could do this, hurt Theo like this, and we would just go riding off into happily ever after?
“Damn it, Blaise, I was happy with Theo!”
He pulled her closer, hands moving to stroke her back gently. He held her, pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, and when a tear slipped from the corner of one eye, he caught it with his thumb.
“You know you are much more to me than a witch to charm into my bed. You deserve the world, to not miss out on those fun and exciting things in life before settling down and having a ready-made family.”
She nodded and leaned into his embrace, her cheek resting against his chest.
“I hate that I hurt him,” she whispered.
“I know, cara. He’ll bounce back,” he assured her. “That’s what Theo does.”
