I totally don't know you or which comics you like, but two series I'm really enjoying are The Wicked + The Divine and They're not like us.

I also hard a quick look at your list of fandoms (quite a few in common!), and I'd like to rec these fics:
This is a promise with a catch (Brandon/Callie)
Let us sport while we may (B99 high school AU, Jake/Amy)
The way the world ends (Criminal Minds; I'm currently reading this, so I can't vouch for the ending :-D

I've heard of The Wicked + The Divine and have been meaning to read it! I haven't heard of They’re Not Like Us before but I just looked it up and it sounds right up my alley. I'll definitely have to get into it!

And thank you for the fic recs! I don't think I've read a Fosters fic before and that one looks great!

Thank you!

I love The Good Wife! I've actually only seen certain seasons/episodes though. I was really into seasons 4+5 and then my heart was kind of broken and I wasn't that into season six. I'm fully planning to go back and rewatch the entire series from beginning to end though!

Comics recs:
Saga (Image Comics, ongoing) is a space opera/fantasy comic. It's amazing both the plot and the art.
It can be sad and very intense at times but at the same time heartwarming.

Lumberjanes (BOOM! Studios, ongoing) A summer girl scouts camp with magic mysteries and frindship.

Scott Pilgrim (Oni Press, finished) The story of a boy that falls in love with a girl, but must defeat her seven evil exes in order to date her.
This one is light and funny and there are a lot of nerdish hints. They also made a movie (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) which is quite good.

I'd rec some European comics too, but I dont't know which are available in the USA, so just a general boost to check them out if you go to a comic shop, there are some very good ones out there :)

I read an issue or two of Saga a while ago but completely forgot about it. And I've been meaning to check out Lumberjanes for ages. Thank you for reminding me!

I think I might actually have a Scott Pilgrim comic from free comic day one year. I'll definitely have to check the actual series out!

I'll be sure to look up some European comics as well. :)

P.S. - I love your icon!

I second the rec for Raven Cycle. Chosen family, supernatural happenings, slashy feels, UST, friendship, prep school boys in uniforms, and excellent writing.

I love TRC! I can't wait for The Raven King to come out. (ALthough, actually, I sort of can because I'm terrified for everyone.)

The Goblin Emperor sounds really interesting, definitely putting it on my to read list!

I was reading Hawkeye a while back but got behind and haven't picked it back up yet, you're giving me the kick in the butt I needed to get back into it.

I love Longmire! I recently started watching it this year, only a few months ago actually, and I'm so glad we're getting a new season.

I've heard of Grace and Frankie and Blindspot before and they've looked intriguing, I'll be sure to check them out!

Thank you for all the recs.

Hahaha *sobbing* yes, this!

I've missed the most recent season of Longmire because we don't get Netflix, but I'm so wanting to see it! I'm glad it didn't die with A&E's decision to not renew it. And now it's renewed for yet another season, so that just shows what they know. *g*

Grace and Frankie was really good! I just read that they've already been renewed for a third season before the second season even aired on Netflix!

I would also recommend the Newsflesh series (MIra Grant) if you haven't already read that one. It's zombies, but not exactly. It was my favorite series I read in 2014.

Comics recs! Well, I have read and enjoyed The Lobster Johnson series, by the same team behind BPRD and Hellboy. It ties into those series a bit but otherwise stands on its own. It's about this pulp hero named The Lobster, who wages war against the gangsters and villains of his city through violent vigilante justice! Then again, it might be quite a bit darker than you'd like.

There's also Gunnerkrigg Court, which is available online (just google "Gunnerkrigg Court", natch). It's about a mysterious girl who attends a boarding school filled with weird mythological creatures and junk. The art is pretty wonky early on but it starts improving a few chapters in. There's also a couple print collections out if you wanna check those out.

(Hopefully this will not get marked as spam this time.)

Both of those series sound really great! I just opened up chapter 1 of Gunnerkrigg Court and am on page 2 and am already liking it so I think that's a good sign! I'll definitely have to check out the Lobster Johnson series as well.

Thank you for the recs!
