The damn bunnies wouldn't leave me alone last night, and ths was the result. Bizarrely, I think it more or less came out exactly how I imagined it last night, which tends not to happen when you sleep on a fic idea and don't write it until the following day.

thanks. This came out of that one line with Becker wondering where the team were and hoping Danny was looking after them, and suddenly there were sodding bunnies everywhere!

I think I'm warming to Danny a bit now that he's settling into his role, rather than barging in and pissing everyone off as he was in his first couple of eps.

I wasn't planning to write anything else in this AU, this bunny jumped me after I'd finished writing the Becker fic for Fakey, but that's it.

I think the fact that I'm writing fic about him means I like Danny. He seems a lot better now than in his first couple of eps, less annoying. And Jason seems to have good chemistry and comic timing with Andrew, which always helps, and is probably one of the things that's making me warm to him. To be honest, JF has good chemistry with all of them, so I can believe they're a team now, and that means it's getting back to the old style Primeval when they all actually *liked* each other and had a laugh.

I agree. He was more annoying when he was trying to elbow his way in. That was a construct largely forced on the writers against their will, but we've now got the team dynamic back. It's not the same one we had before, but it's still a good one.
