Love the Becker part of this AU (and he indeed look so pretty when he's broken) and this part is great too. I loved the team feeling of the episode (and not just the tuxes, honestly) and you reflected it here perfectly :)

thanks. Yes, I think that was part of why this ep appealed so much to me as well - the real feeling that it was a team ep and that they enjoyed working together and cared about each other. Nice to know I captured that in this fic, I've not written Danny or Sarah before so was a bit worried about it.

Yeah, Fifi can point and laugh at us now *sigh*. It was just this latest ep, 3.6, that managed to persuade me that Danny's actually a good guy, and that the new team really works.

Hee, yes. I think that may be one of my favourite lines in the whole fic. Abby can get a wee bit protective when it comes to her favourite geek. I certainly wouldn't want to piss her off!

heehee, thanks. It took ages for the character to grow on me, and I really couldn't see myself writing Danny fic, but then this bunny ambushed me and demanded to be written.

I was determined to dislike him, but there is something irritatingly likeable about him. Thankfully so far I have avoided any Danny shaped plot bunnies :)

Protective!Abby is great. I think quite a lot of people would get protective over Connor. There's something about him...maybe the fact he does the best puppy-dog eyes I've ever seen.

thanks, glad he seems to have worked. I couldn't seem to get into the character at all until 3.6, but then suddenly there were Danny bunnies.

yeah, despite him using Connor as bait, he does seem to care about them and want to protect the team, and I think that was my way into writing his character, to focus on that apsect and see where it went. I must admit, I like him more the more I see of him in episodes. He's a lot better now he's a proper part of the team rather than trying to muscle his way in and being annoying.
