Yay for Connor finally making clear to Abby how he feels. And I like the way the story reflects Connor's loyalty to Cutter and how he feels he has to keep investigating.
Thanks. I wish they had got more pro-active about investigating the artefact, especially once they suspected it may have come from the future world, and they had what seemed to be a stable, open anomaly to it.
Oh, absolutely. As it was, it ended up a kind of McGuffin. I can see why, in a way, because it would give the ARC so much control over the anomaly situation that there wouldn't be any creatures to wrangle, and thus, bang goes half the show.. But such importance was made of it when Cutter died, I wanted it to be much more significant than it turned out to be. We need more fic exploring that angle, I think. Lots more, actually :-D
Aww, Connor! Abby may have been the one to do most of the heroic rescue thing this time, but Connor was the brave one when it came to insisting on clarifying where they stood when it came to their relationship.
Thanks. Yes, it took a lot of bravery, and a slight amount of blood loss and mortal peril, for Connor to finally stand up to Abby about the way she was treating him. I just wish we had seen this happen in the show.
