The problem is mine.
Puck has not fled, per se. He did disappear, abruptly and without telling anybody where he was going, and he is currently curled up in a corner of the greenhouse, moodily regarding somebody's nasturtiums; however, none of this should be taken as fleeing, retreating, hiding, and especially not flouncing.
Really.

It is some time after talking with Nita that Havelock makes his way outside, and full dark by now. He makes a full circuit of the bar before heading for the greenhouse; slow, leisurely and deliberately not trying to keep out of sight.
If Puck wants to avoid him, therefore, he'll have ample chance before Havelock pushes open the glass door and walks in through the shadows. Moonlight is weak through the roof, but seeing in the dark isn't really a problem for either of them.

Mmph.
Though he doesn't disappear (it has been a long time, and there's only so much masochistic avoidance he can take), he does slump a little down in the current flower bed.
Havelock may be able to hear the rustle of leaves, if nothing else.

He strolls silently between the rows of plants, to all appearances just out for an evening walk, and glances over the beds with mild curiosity. He doesn't really spend much time out here, but someone has taken a good deal of time and care with the plants in here. He can respect that kind of dedication.
Reaching the end of the row not far from where Puck is concealed, he turns, ignoring any rustling that may occur; then slides down one wall to sit against it on the ground, staring into the darkness.
He doesn't say anything.

Finally, quietly:
"Hullo, darling."
