[Filtered away from: Howie, Steph, Una, Bruce, Dick, Martha. (basically, people Sveta told him might get Narvin in trouble.]
Well. A while ago, my warden, Narvin, played you an interesting piece of history. Something he believed was the 'truth'. It was a lie. It was all fabricated. This, I've emphasised over and over again.
So, as my warden likes to think he can share my 'truths' with you.
You might want to know some relative truths about me and my warden. Some things I have documentary evidence of.
[Now he starts reeling it off like a list.]
My warden and myself had an agreement, since the very beginning, that he would not attempt to 'reform' me, and that in return, I would not cause him trouble.
I killed my warden once. Stone dead. I believe someone found the blood in the lift. He was, at the time, determined to find Arthas' sword. I killed him to protect the entire Barge from what he would become if he picked it up.
I killed him with the weapons he gave me. An axe. Some Dwarf bread. Mining equipment which I could have used against anyone. Would have, if they had threatened the books.
He then assisted me in covering up his own murder. Assisted me in keeping the whole thing off your maps. I kept him for a week in my room as he recovered from the death toll.
Essentially, wardens, he treated me like an equal. At some points, he even let me call the shots. At times, I felt more like his warden than he was mine. He was the one constantly getting himself into difficulty, he was the one who I had to hold back from doing stupid thing after stupid thing. A lot of the things I said he gave me permission to do, he didn't. Because our agreement basically assured he would agree to anything I wanted him to agree to.
So perhaps you ought to know the history of the man who told you my 'truth'. Perhaps you ought to know how he, in his own words, never intended to play the Admiral's game. Never intended to play any game with any of you. We were both quite happy with this state of affairs as neither of us had anywhere better to be.
The truth is there to be seen. It is there in words. And words I can guarantee came from Narvin. Unlike ones which came from an anonymous cube.
Now watch as you all try to prove me wrong, and accept the Cube as truth, simply because he's a warden and I'm not. Your biases are easy to spot from a distance.
[Private to Narvin]
Does it taste bitter, Narvin?
narvin is now my favourite corpse,
fellow dwarfs will help you hide a body,
grumpy dwarf is grumpy,
ardent gets his shout on,
king queen and crown prince of cover ups
