If I haven't mentioned this before, I am terribly envious. TERRIBLY.

Good detective work. I've been Googling the last couple of days and came up empty.

This was a gem:
"Billie was the highlight and her scenes with the tutor (at a loss for the name) were very interesting"

Ha, I was looking at THAT EXACT SITE last night! From the performance schedule, it appears that the cast has Mondays off. It's conceivable that RSL could fly back to LA Sunday evening (after the 3 pm show), shoot all day Monday and part of Tuesday, then fly back to NY on Tuesday (for the 7 pm show). Conceivable, not desirable, because that would be a tough schedule. On the other hand, if he's not in very many scenes of the season finale, it would be doable.

It occurred to me that maybe they're shooting him in New York? I don't know.

That could be. HL could fly to NY, and they could shoot there. If the finale spin is that Wilson leaves PPTH (I don't know that it is, I'm just speculating) then it would make some nice showtelling to shoot at a recognizable NYC location.

Hit enter too soon. Of course, it's also possible that NOBODY is flying back and forth, and that RSL is shooting with a stand-in in NY.

He said in an interview that they're working around his schedule. It's possible, since they shoot out of sequence anyway, that they can use him for a couple of days and get everything. (Didn't they shoot JMo for her return visit when she had a day or two off from her Broadway performance? And she and JS had a third of the episode.)

As Nightdog said, it's a tight schedule. There's a performance Sun 4/3 at 3 pm, off on Monday 4/4, and then performance Tuesday 4/5 at 8 pm. Unless they're shooting him in New York, that's only one day to shoot him for House.

Then it's Wed 4/6 2 pm & 8 pm, Th 4/7 at 8 pm, off on Fri 4/8, Sat 4/9 2 pm & 8 pm. Same schedule the next week, except there's an 8 pm performance on the Friday.

RSL has mentioned that the play runs through July 31 and shooting begins on June 1. So his role will probably be minimal for the first few episodes.

I saw the show and it/he were awesomesauce. You can check my LJ for fangirly squeeing posts and pics.

ETA: When are you going to see the show?

I'm going mid-May. Can't wait!

I've seen some fan speculation that they could push back the beginning of the next season for a few months. That would allow everyone to get back from their other commitments.
