One thing I love about LJ is that the community I follow on here, Tumblr Refuge, teaches me so much about fandom, aside from being a... refuge from Tumblr.

Well, I can say I've made somewhat of a dent on my NaNo novel. Close to 3k words; may not be a lot, but it's something. At least I'm making an effort.

So Two Things Happened Since We Last Chatted...
For starters, I ordered the part I needed, a cable for the hard drive. Once I got it, I tested it out and IT WORKED! The laptop was back in business.
But then... something else came up.
