ready, set, GO!

Welcome!

This is Decaydance Land, a challenge community centered around Decaydance music, focussing on four bands - Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, The Academy Is... and Cobra Starship.
Decaydance Land is very much based on rdjverse (which I suggest you check out and join Team Fag Hag). But anyway:

Wait, what is this?
This is a challenge community - challenges are posted and it's up to you to participate and complete them to win points for your team so that your team can WIN!

What do you mean, challenges?
They could be anything - games, trivia, graphics, writing, luck... there will be something for everyone, definitely! Challenges will be posted regularly, and if you complete them before the deadline, you will be awarded points! Awesome!

There must be rules here, right?
Why yes, there are a few basic rules you need to follow. This is a friendly community - everyone needs to be nice to everyone else. We're all lovely, awesome people, so if you're consistently mean and horrible you will be asked to leave.
You also need to have fun and enjoy your time here! Compete against the other teams (WITHOUT BASHING) and claim victory!

Sounds awesome! I want in!
You do? Brilliant! All you need to do is post a comment with this completed form:

(1) NAME:
(2) AGE:
(3) LOCATION:
(4) PREFERENCE OF TEAMS (in order, if any):
Your choice is between:
Team Corktree - Fall Out Boy
Team Barrington - The Academy Is...
Team Fever - Panic! At The Disco
Team Viva - Cobra Starship

NOTE: If your first choice of team is full, you will be assigned to your next available choice of team. If you then decide that you really really desperately want to be in your first choice, just let us know and we'll put you on the waiting list. When the other teams catch up (which could take FOREVER, mind), you'll be first in line for a place ;)

So I've joined a team... now what?
Now you get cracking on those challenges! Check out the open challenges post for what is currently open to enter.
Joining this comm would be a good idea, as would accepting your team invite to gain access to the comm. It would also be a good idea to track this comm to get all the updates soon as.
If you're new to this whole "challenge comm" concept, take a look at our newbie guide, and definitely don't be afraid to ask questions if you're unsure about anything (there are questions threads on each challenge, or you could page-a-mod to grab our attention faster/privately)

Love, noelsaysalright and schneekrahe (aka, your lovely mods!)
