So... when I got into this crazy hobby I originally told myself that I would NOT fall in love with LEs, cause by their very nature they are fleeting... And what bottles have I bought so far? Posset's Cambienne 'Rosarah', BPAL's THE PHANTOM CALLIOPE, Woobie's Pumpkin Spice, Smooshed Pumpkins and Hocus Pocus... Yeah

I'm only after bottles of Wulric I'm afraid....I already have three. It is a sickness I tell you *grin*

As for scentscribbles, it is a great reference and is a one stop shop for the 'major' players in the game. Saves having to find scent descriptions on a million and one different sites.

my favorite halloween LE - hands down - possets ghost fart! love it love it L♥VE IT!! (even though it is totally bizarre.)
i have also really liked:
conjure oils - poison apple, calavera de azucar & stingy jack
woobie - apple basket & buttered pumpkins

most of the other scents i have put into consideration for "full bottle purchase" are GC.

I have a partial bottle of Sex with the Spirits on my sales page, I think there's like just under half in there, I'm asking 4.50, if you're interested :)
I thought it smelled like sweet pepper and leather. I liked it but I know I won't reach for it often, so it's been offered up.

Ghost Fart is SO weird! I WANT to like it, I'm keeping it... but Carter (belfrey said it smelled like band-aids and now that's all I can smell, lol. And yest... I like it?? LOL

tell me that ghost fart doesn't smell like a first aid kit! i dare you!! it's got that plastic-y band-aidy quality with an antiseptic undertone. i close my eyes and sniff and i see a big red cross.

On Posset's Halloween. It was my miles-ahead favourite too, but it doesn't have much of a throw, or any staying power at all. Didn' top me from ordering a bottle though, LOL. I just wish it was more concentrated. Like, a LOT more.
Same thing happens with BPAL's Eden, I can't get it to stay on my skin for more than two minutes. I also just ordered a bottle of that, though, lol. So I guess I have a different kind of "fleeting" love! LOL.

My newest love is Arcana's Guy Fawkes; enabling points to defektesmosaik on that one :D

I think duality_duel may be able to help you out with those BPAL LEs you're after :)

Of the 8 I ordered, 3 were love, 3 were eww sell, and 2 were keepers but not love, so that's actually not too bad. I think whatever she uses as "butter" goes rancid on me, as both Pippin Pie and Treat had this weird food-gone-bad smell on me, the same as The Girls Love a Good Posset on me. Blech.

Hehe, yeah. Love is love ;).

I was going to try that one in the decant circle, but I had to cut back, so I "only" ordered 5, which arrived today! They all smell SOO good in the imp, we'll see how they smell ON me, heh.

Ooohh... I'll have to ask. I know she liked Gunpowder. I think. ;)

I am SOOOO tempted to tack Gunpowder onto that order, though I'm sure you've placed it by now. And really, that's for the best, cause I really should not spend another $17.50 on an untried scent. But damn it sounds so good, heh.

I don't so much have any huge Halloween loves - while there are some I like, they tend to be a little on the foody side for heavy duty never ending love.

And it's not so much the LE thing that gets me in trouble - eg, Like so many others, I've fallen madly in love with a decent chunk of the Carnaval...but I have time to order more.

My *big* problem is becoming obsessed with now discontinued LE's...I've discovered that Sugar Moon, Love's Philosophy and Poisson D'Averil...and even scarier...Venom all love me. So all my spare $$ lately have gone towards obtaining more...

Oh, yeah, well... I'm a foodie. A big one ;).

Oh, yes, discontinued LE's are even worse. So far... *knocks on wood* I've not run into that, heh.

That's cool...my chemistry just does weird things to most foody things. Except, of course for vanilla...hence the Love's Philosophy, which to me smells like REALLY good vanilla icecream. I'm still trying to work out whether it's the vanilla or the saffron - or even some strange metamorphosis of the two that makes it work.

The plus side on the Sugar Moon thing is that apparently, it was never incredibly popular, which makes me happy, because I'm picking bottles of it up without too much trouble or financial pain, so another few, and I'll be set, I think. The Venom though, is one that means I'll just have to keep my one precious imp, and treasure it for special occasions.

I am more of a deep dark resin-y type - hence my need for Mme Moriarty. But I also need more Australian Copperhead, and most likely some more Boomslang...and the original Carnaval Diabolique...and so on.

Oddly though, despite my non-foody leanings though, I have a very strong feeling that I will love Gelt, because I much prefer cocoa to chocolate, and I adore amber.

Sandalwood... anything I get with sandalwood in it the sw takes COMPLETELY over and that's all I can smell. Nice, but not usually what I was looking for. Cinnamon tends to amp on me too, but I like it :).

Ha! That's good, I think ;). *nods* It's good to have something to treasure.

I do like myrrh on me... Amber not as much ;).
