Halloween scent thoughts
So... when I got into this crazy hobby I originally told myself that I would NOT fall in love with LEs, cause by their very nature they are fleeting... And what bottles have I bought so far? Posset's Cambienne 'Rosarah', BPAL's THE PHANTOM CALLIOPE, Woobie's Pumpkin Spice, Smooshed Pumpkins and Hocus Pocus... Yeah.
So, from each Halloween circle I've been in so far there's been a scent that I've fallen head over heels in love with. First it was Poison Apple 2008 by Conjure Oils. Then it was Sleepy Hollow(een) by Mythos Mixture. Then it was HALLOWEEN by Possets, though I love THE TISANE OF THE WITCH and SEX WITH THE SPIRITS too ;). But HALLOWEEN wins. I just got some more Conjure Oils Halloween to try, and I'm waiting on decants from Sidhe Creations, Arcana and BPAL... but this is crazy. I mean, I knew I was a Fall girl, but these have been some of the BEST scents I've tried! Mmm... And I even resisted a few circles, the Woobie, Violette Market, Good Judy... *sigh*
Edit: My Arcana arrived today, and upon first sniffie all five that I got smell DIVINE... though Caffinated Death is a little overwhelming. Must try them...
Now I'm contemplating what bottles to get next. I have a little extra cash thanks to an extra paycheck this month. I did order a FEARFUL PLEASURE bottle unsniffed since all I hear about it is excited raving and odilesseduction's circle has no shipping ;). I wanna wait for the rest of my circles to come in before deciding, but I also don't wanna wait too long and miss out, heh. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do yet... gotta weigh love of scent and COST of scent, hehe.
I am ISO imps of BPAL's SAMHAIN 2008 and GUNPOWDER - I missed the bookandbroom circle WAY back when, so if anyone has any I could buy or swap for I'd be totally grateful. I wasn't brave enough to spend THAT much money on unsniffed bottles ;). Though Gunpowder was SO tempting :P.
