Day 04 → talk about television this year

I honestly don't think I have followed anything this year.  I often have the TV on in the background, often repeats of history programmes.

I do always watch Strictly Come Dancing ... so that has 2 more shows to go before we get a result.

I'm not a great TV watcher, but have been enjoying re-watching M*A*S*H.  Last week another channel said it would be re-showing Stargate SG1 ... so I thought "YAY"

However - guess what ..... yes, they are both on at the same time!!

I have them both on DVD, so it's no big problem, just I thought ironic.

I seem to have been missing for ages ... well it's almost a week.  Weekends for me tend to end up busy with Mum & Dad time ... and of course Jiffy-time.  Jiffy time is fun, even if it does keep me away from you all.  The last couple of days have just been busy ... work is good, and last night the Bible Study group finished late ( Read more... )

I went to my friend Pete's funeral today - it was "lovely" to see the Church full, and to meet up with friends form orchestra.  I left Bude 18months ago and will admit that it is one thing I still miss.  I haven't found anywhere still to play and just wish I was a bit nearer, or at least that petrol was free on Mondays, then I would go back.  Pete ( Read more... )
