How can it be 4 years ago that little Jiffy crossed Rainbow Bridge ... where do the days go? Some days I still expect to see him in the house. he may have been a little person, but he filled a big place in the hearts of those who knew him.

I didn't have too many photos with Jiffy ... and the one I used here took ages to take, but wanted that memory, as I knew I was running out of time.

Get someone to take a photo of you & Pippin, a memory you will really treasure, both at the time ... and certainly in the future.

What nice pictures to have.

I remember my grandparents Golden Wedding - I was 10 like you, and my older cousin and I made them a cake decorated in white royal icing with gold coins. Richard was working on a farm at the time and I wonder if he ever told his workmates what he spent the evening doing.

My dad died young so my parents only got to their silver one - but I think my sister and her husband may well make their 50th as they are coming up to 42 years.

Hee - certainly your cousin cooking back then would certainly have raised eyebrows! Mum made the cakes ... she was a great baker, and at about that time she was doing a cake decorating course, and did some amazing work.

That's why Tim & Claire are celebrating their 35th next year ... no one knows what the future holds

I'm not bored!!!! Sending hugs over Jiffy...four years ago I lost two kitties...both dumped because they had cancer and kidney issues...and then I got my Chang and Eng that summer. But I really miss the other two, and so many others than came before. Fur babies are my kids :) And yes, several relatives including my parents had 50ths!
