Clinic days can vary so much can't they! I used to do a weekly joint uro-gynae clinic with a consultant surgeon and a specialist physio as well as me, and some days people had really difficult or unusual problems, and on other days they were just difficult or unusual people!
The clinic I work in is a Urology "Flow" Clinic ... requesting that people pass urine twice using a special "loo". What annoys me is when people don't want to stay for the second, or wait to be tested at all (we have had that a couple of times, when people have turned up, answered the questions and then promptly said they are going home without staying)
As we point out ... we do these appointments to help them ... people!!!
Oh yes - we did that as part of the urodynamics and, sometimes, purely as a flow test. It is one of the clinics where you do your very best to run to time, as there was nothing more likely to throw the whole thing out than someone who had been desperate and emptied their bladder about 5 minutes before we called them in :)
Actually I do sometimes laugh when 2 men ask to wee at the same time (as I point out to them, it's usually us ladies who have to queue to visit the loo!!)
