It would be lovely if Tim and Claire could cover you for a weekend so that you could go to Newcastle and send them a snap!

Tim & Claire had their anniversary day on the same weekend .... but even if it hadn't coincided they wouldn't help ... they can't see why I do it, and sadly, don't want to even commit to one evening.

Still sad that I didn't see James though.

It is good to know that you are coping with your own health issues, your increased caring responsibilities, and everything else, and be mostly in a good place {{hugs}}

Like Deborah I think perhaps you could make this a reason for a weekend off and get someone else in the family to step into the breach.

It's been a slow process, but good to know that things are easing a bit. I suppose it's a combination of getting used to my life, and my treatment helps.

I'm glad everyone (including you!) is doing well at the moment, and that having found a routine you're coping much better, so good to know. (Though I'd second Deb's suggestion re Newcastle as well).

Congrats to your M&D and Tim and Claire on their respective anniversaries, enjoy the celebrations at the weekend.

I'm looking forward to listening to James's version of Ghost Story, though I did enjoy Jon Glover's reading when I got into it, glad I persevered as he did read it well, if differently, from James.
