He was very shy and hadn't ever kissed anyone before, so it wasn't a "full" kiss, like with...erm...tongues.

Wow - a busy month-and-a-half! Great that you have been having such a good summer, and wonderful that you got to sing "A Child of Our Time" and enjoyed it so much - I think it's a fabulous work, and it was on at the opening night of the Proms back over here.

Yup - saw it live on TV and it was superb - very moving. Way back when I was a student I saw Tippett himself conducting it at the Proms...and he gave a very amusing talk about it before the concert as well (and signed my copy of the score :) ).

20 scars...you have had a rough life..I can only think of one from my very early years when one of my sisters left a broken milk bottle on the floor (yes all milk bottles were glass then) and of course I stepped on it...there is still a long scar on the bottom of my foot...if there is a good place for a scar I guess that is it...
