Sorry to be so negative. Stupid neighbor from across the street must have got a car alarm put on his car last week. I have terrible trouble with sleep and last week and last night the alarm went off around 3 a.m. That tells me that whoever it is won't or can't get it adjusted so other cars going by don't set it off. The sensitivity is probably set too high. Do they like being woke up that late? Then they reset it so it could possibly go off again. It didn't but I was worried and I was up late trying to get to sleep when it went off this time. Just another reason I need to move. That is very insensitive of someone not to have that fixed. Some people can sleep through anything, but I can't. Everything wakes me up and of course it would be right across the street, not down the street. It is very annoying. I would go talk to the neighbor nicely if I knew who it was. I hate this place. Sorry.
It's always annoying getting woken up in the middle of the night. If they're anything like me though, maybe your neighbours don't even realise their alarm can be set to a less sensitive level. I wouldn't have a clue. i don't even now if my car HAS an alarm. If it does and it ever went off I'd have no idea what to do. At least they know how to switch theirs off!
I'm a light sleeper, everything wakes me too, but I wake up frequently anyway.
That is what I thought too, but I hear them reset it so they know it is being set off so I went up the street to my friend Ron's house and he said it wasn't that, it was their kids. It is a black family that haven't been here long and I think they are the kind you don't want to have mad at you. They are completely inconsiderate of their neighbors. Why don't they hide the remotes from their children and why would they be up at 3 and 4 in the morning setting them off. Is it a prank? I didn't get to ask Ron because it started raining and I had to get back home. If I knew for sure it was the duplex right up from him I would call the police the next time it happens and see if they could go talk to them but of course not let them know it was me that reported them. I don't need another neighbor having it in for me. Tonight it went off about 11:30 pm and we were up. Alex just went to sleep at midnight. I am going soon. I sleep weird hours, worse in the summer, but until this started, I was at least getting to bed before so terribly late. Home
