This is a disease. I keep checking my e-mail, waiting for him to e-mail back.

On the bright side, I've just bought an expensive hair straightener. Let's start junior year with straight hair and bangs.

Today is my birthday.

I am sixteen.

I am getting my hair cut.

(I'm over Abby's house and we've just scraped together $20 in cash and $14 in quarters, nickels and dimes. For my haircut. )

School's nearly over. Summer. I'll find out if I've been accepted to the Mentorship program this week.
