Okay, breaking my heart with an All That Remains fic...

I loved that you covered all the stuff I would have loved to have seen happen in game. Hawke grieving for a little bit more, Anders doing his best to try and support him. And god damnit do I love it whenever Anders is the one who supports Hawke when its usually the other way around. It's such a nice role reversal.

And the ending killed me.

BRB crying.

Everything about that quest breaks my heart, especially Aveline's story about her father :(

Thank you :) *Offers more tissues*

Oh HAWKE...

I think my heart just got ripped out through my chest. Which is to say that I really like this. It's so beautiful despite hurting so much.

And I like your Anders voice, and the way he just wants to be comforting and do what he can. That's lovely.

Thank you :) I was a bit nervous when it came to writing Anders, so I'm glad it turned out well enough.

Oh August! *hug* And Anders, he's so amazingly supportive and gentle. This is what I would have wanted in my game, you know (but yours is better so not complaining!).
Soooo heartwrenching, thank you! *sniffle*

Oh, oh. Your Hawke. I kind of want to give him all the hugs in the world and then go off to wibble for a few minutes. (Is that an appropriate response? I neither know nor care!)

All I seem to be able to write for my poor Hawke is angst so he'd probably appreciate the hugs ;)

I really liked the way you portrayed the emotion as your Hawke goes through it: first like a growing tension to the final paragraph where it comes down. You have nice writing skills :)
