Very nice! I'm not a writer myself so I don't have much in the way of content/style criticism, but I can offer something of the more technical variety: "the blood is on his hands as much as Anders" should have an apostrophe after "Anders." Since you are referring to Anders' hands, right?

I would love to read more about August and Anders, specifically how August deals with Anders' return at the Gallows and how that goes down depending on who he sided with...
