Ah being in a position of power... it's the most stressful and unfulfilling thing I've done in a while.

How do you decide who doesn't get to be happy? How long do you make yourself suffer before concluding that there's no solution to a problem? How do you deal with people?

Well, I don't think I've updated here in a few forevers... Things are going more or less well. Got a 2% raise at work, nothing exciting, but every bit helps. Been playing lots of WoW still, especially now that I've been, rather unexpectedly, made the new Guild master. In that short amount of time, I've:

• Paid off 2 loans
  
• Installed the new gigantic content patch for WoW


• Spent hours getting quotes for car insurance, and eventually choosing one and filling out the paperwork


• Had a great spontaneous breakfast with Amy

Today I finally convinced myself to get outside and do a real run. I can't begin to describe how good it feels to have finally done so. So many memories came back of why I used to do this, why I loved running so much, when I didn't even think about fitness or being fat.
