Seeing that I am too much at at a loss for words at FFN, I will give you a temporary review here. Sadly, it won't be quite as well-worded as usual, for I am fatigued and the heat has reduced my thoughts into empty bubbles ( ... )

I've added you back. Honestly, I have had several ljs but due to some bad experiences this one is limited to my writings. I just don't feel comfortable ranting about my personal life without keeping the entries friends-locked or even private. Besides, my life is neither dramatic nor remotely interesting.

It's quite hot here. So hot, in fact, that falling asleep is impossible. Whilst I do not hate the summer, I do prefer the more pleasant weather of the spring.

Like you, I also read a lot- in runs in the family. Unlike my brother, however, I adore classical literature as these novels work wonders for my vocabulary. Yet, I also like modern short stories that are of a sarcastic vein. During my childhood, I devoured books by Roald Dahl and he is still one of my favourite writers ever (Charles Dickens is my favourite).

Ironically, I try writing angsty fics but they mostly end being either fluffy or sweet.

I have a personal journal myself, for probably the same reasons you do. This one's for writing ( ... )

Shakespeare is definitely difficult to understand but one grows to his language, after a while. What I really about his works is that he is very imaginative when it comes to descriptions. I agree with you about Steinbeck and Orwell- they are both fantastic and thought-provoking authors.

I haven't reading Howl's Moving Castle but am familiar with the anime. Perhaps, it is about time I considered reading the novel.

I think you should write whenever the mood strikes you (and it is appropriate). It is difficult for me to write cleverly plotted fics, too.Mostly, I also suffer from writer's block.

Have fun on your vacation!
