Periods.
Don't take them for granted.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy losing a load of mucus and blood for a few days about as much as the next person, However it DOES tell me i'm able to make babies if I want them, and one day I do.

Rest of this probably too personal shit under cut

Awww *pets* I do understand that, my mum has a similar problem, but it's due to fybroids. Not quite the same, but sometimes hers go on for three weeks. Mine in contrast barely last 5 days, but i still get the cramps and shit. Especially randomly in the month when I excercise, I get debilitating sickening pain if I go hard at anything. run, bike, dance, Uterus isn;t even doing anything and it bitches at me. You still have it worse tho *pets and feeds iron tablets*

You can now actually. Not sure how I feel about this but, apparently a lot of young women are opting to stay on the pill for most of a year, and going off it only once or twice during that time. Doctors are ok with this. So basically, 2 periods per year. Part of me thinks this is awesome b/c I've always had heavy periods with every possible pms symptom in the book, then on the other hand, it seems biologically wrong to manipulate this process...

Anyway, if you're interested, ask your doctor....

I didn't have much of a choice when I went on the pill. Mine just stopped. Even though the implant was supposed to allow normal cycles.

I was prescribed the pill by my endocronologist, but i refuse to take it because we aren't sure it didn't cause my mum's stroke, so I wont risk taking it.
Not like I get any, so I don't strictly need it for contraceptive right now or in the forseeable future T.T

I used to get painful periods before I got an implant and they stopped altogether, I was one of the lucky (or unlucky) 5% that it happened to. Though I did get the odd one now and then. Unfortunately the implant has run out but they're not as painful any more.

I saw the Kre-o's advertised in Target, but our Target is so badly stocked they'll probably never get them in. >
