Wow, that sucks! It was very well written, but I sure didn't like what happened in it. I'd also hate to think Spock was that much of an asshole to choose to leave her again.

It is interesting that you choose the less common route and skewed the remaining Vulcans to have too many females rather than males. That does make it harder for Spock.

Very well done. Given your AN about a AU over a number of years, I imagine there may not be much to like about the evtns that unfold for a while. I do look forward to your next chapter though.

Regarding the survivors, it seemed to me that women and children would be the first groups hustled off the planet. Logical, right?

I would like to think Kirk was a more mature individual when he took command of Enterprise.
