scrapped knees...
went to carousel with xuxu today. last monday she was riding her scooter and went flying off it, scraping her knee, elbow and lip, so i got her some pads. probably won't stop her falling off the scooter, but maybe will stop the scrapes. personally, my knees are full of scars from when i was a kid, from all the times i came off my bike, but she ( Read more... ) -
Obscure tee shirts..
Al already posted that he almost fell asleep twice during Camera Obscura, but I found parts of it quite good. Traceyanne's vocals weren't the best, such as being a bit soft in lots of places, but overall it was a great night. Institut Polaire rocked as well. Friday night Al & I went to see Love is All at the Becks Verandah. We got half price tickets that day so I didn't feel that bad that they weren't the best band to see. They were ok, a couple of songs that were bouncy & fun but it was mostly boring ( Read more... ) -

I am now officially an "Aussie". Citizenship ceremony was ok yesterday, but it went on forever, as, besides just swearing in 36 residents of South Perth, it was the annual australia day, "let's get everyone who's ever done anything in South Perth to speak" thing ( Read more... ) -
Food!
last night Al & I went to the new "d'tandoor" restaurant in Como and gorged ourselves on beef vindaloo (not too spicy but yummy) and chicken korma (spelled "qorma" on the menu). Used our 25% entertainment card and it only came to $48, including sides and corkage. plus, even better was that we could walk home in only 10 minutes ( Read more... ) -
