A portal opens up in the Nexus. Out of the portal comes a very loud Boom from an explosion on the other side. Less than a second later a red and blue figure flies out through the white portals horizon and does a very good 'Human Cannonball' impression before strings of white weblike material fire out from behind the figure and attach to various pieces of furniture, rafters, walls and even a space whale.
He slows himself down enough to drop to the floor with a groan. Then the Scarlet Spider wobbly gets to his feet and looks around. After a stumble or two he sees the sign and the various gathered people. Putting 2 and fish together he gets alternate reality dealywhopper.
"uhm. Ok. What would you do with your life if you knew you were gonna die within the next 5 years?"
