Adam, who has just finished facilitating his girlfriend's move to his own universe by planting fake records in databases and forging her some paperwork, is checking and rechecking every tiny little detail to make sure he hasn't gotten anything wrong. He needs to make this completely airtight. She needs to be able to pass a rigorous background check.
It's ridiculously illegal, but Adam doesn't care. He's doing it for a good reason, trying to help people, not hurt them. He doesn't lose much sleep over it.
Now, if she gets the job she's applying for, that'll be another story. He finishes up at the computer and turns his chair around.
"What do you guys think about relationships between colleagues? Usually a bad idea, or usually okay?"
