go ahead, lie to me

The man entering the Nexus at this moment is in his mid-forties and a bit behind on shaving. Surprise crosses his face (eyebrows raised less than a second, eyes wide, mouth open) for a moment, then confusion--then after he reads the Sign his expression is guarded, but not unfriendly.

"Alright then," he says. He's got a relaxed British accent--north London maybe? "Question: how good are you at reading people?" Nexus, meet Cal Lightman. He's very, very good at reading people--which is convenient, because it's his job. "And are you a good liar?"

For the record, Lightman has spent over twenty years studying facial expressions and body language, in particular microexpressions. If you're human, he can very probably read you like a book. (Then again, this is the Nexus...)

((So many replies! Can't keep up! I'm sorry if I do not reply to you. I love you all and hope to play with your little liars later.))
