Regardless of the technicalities of the matter, that benevolent Christmas spirit has appeared! Hah, this time Sephiroth is prepared! He's done some research on Christmas!

"I would have to say Rudolph."

Misfits have to stick together and all that junk!

It's too good of an opportunity. Theta Lou gives Sephiroth a round, blinking red nose, an indention on one side making it obvious that it's meant to be worn on the tip of one's nose. Inexplicably, it will stick on without needing to be attached with spirit gum or string. Perfectly removable at any time, and a little silly, really.

Sephiroth takes the nose, raising an eyebrow at it, then in a fit of uncharacteristic silliness, he actually puts it on.

"The name Donner comes from a word for thunder. I like that."

"Oho, someone who knows their stuff!" Theta Lou can always appreciate that. And in exchange for such an intelligent response, he gets an oversized mug with a replenishing supply of peppermint hot chocolate. Nothing funny about the hot chocolate aside from the nature of being very delicious and always there, though - once a cup is gone, the mug has to be shaken before it refills itself, and it's not addictive like those cookies. In fact, it only lasts for about half a dozen turns, but it's very good!

"I dunno, man. They don't tell you nothin' about anybody but Rudolph, y'know?" He seems to be a bit more lucid than last time, and the fact that he no longer has the LOL cookie jar of DOOM may have something to do with it. "I kinda like Comet, but that's just 'cause of the name, hey? Sounds like he'd be pretty fast."

Theta Lou is glad to see Jake looking a bit more in his right mind. And ... hopefully not having gained twenty extra pounds from that darn LOL. For his insightful answer, Jake gets a ribbon with a jingle bell on the end.

LOL alert: Because Theta Lou is nice, ringing this bell will grant a one-time feeling of irrepressible Christmas cheer, although nothing so awful as to induce someone to eat a tub full of cookies or anything ridiculous like that. Just a very good mood that will last for twenty-four hours or so.

'Course, Jake doesn't have to use it, if he doesn't want.

Fortunately for his waistline, Jake does not have human metabolism. On the downside, that was what allowed him to eat several hundred cookies non-stop in the first place, so it's something of a wash.

At any rate, the bell jingles as he accepts it, and something about the sound just makes him laugh. "Hey, thanks, man!" he says brightly, and on impulse, loops it around his wrist. "You have a good Christmas, man!"

"Cupid and Vixen sound like the coolest of the reindeer. Too bad that they're overshadowed by Rudolph and his eyesore of a nose."

Theta Lou chuckles. "Interesting you'd pick both of them." He gives Vince a lovely sprig of mistletoe, and doesn't say why it's interesting.

"I never really had a favorite. Reindeer aren't really my type." Phoenix tries to be serious, but dissolves into a fit of giggles instead.

"Oh, it happens." Since she can't pick one, Theta Lou gives her a nice unrelated gift, a pair of mittens striped like candy canes.
