Congratulations on killing my excitement and interest in this expansion at last. It took longer than Cata by two whole months!

Look, I've been with this game since Vanilla, and I've stuck around for all the highs and all the lows. I remember way too much shit I hated about this game, and I remember even more things I adored about it, too.

Right. And clearly it's not for you. I have no trouble with hard-to-acquire pets, myself, but obviously you do. In which case...I'd suggest you quit. You're obviously not having a good time with this expansion.. :/

Given your last post on the subject, I really think you're taking this far too seriously. You say you're tired of camping, but you also farmed marsh fiddlers for three days to get the *perfect* rare with the right stats and colour. If you don't want to hunt pets, or aren't in the mood right now, don't. Give yourself a break! You really, really sound like you need one.

Hey there :) I got this way too and I solved it after taking the advice given to me here.
I stepped away from the work part of the game and just let it drift, if I felt like something I went and did it, if not then I simply didn't.
Also, when things are getting me down, I hit a BG and smack something until I feel better :)
Don't let the game become life or death IRL, remember you came here to relax and escape reality for a while, don't let that change.

They nerfed the XP?! No :(

I was already finding leveling pets to be a little hard to take, I'd only just gone back to battle pets in the last few days after taking a break for 2-3 weeks due to the fact that I'd gotten super annoyed at all the bugs so I hadn't been paying huge attention to the patch notes.

I don't so much mind the long spawn timers/weather condition pets (*grrr* at there being no sandstorms that I've caught in tanaris these last few days) if I don't want to camp rare pets I can go catch some of the other ones I don't have/don't have rares of but nerfing the xp gains makes me sad, honestly I was hoping for an eventual buff to pet leveling :(

You nerfed XP gain for pet leveling so much it's not even worth bothering.

The hell? I haven't touched pet battling in a week or so now (too annoyed with not being able to get the rare ones I still need). XP gain did NOT need to be nerfed. D:

I haven't even looked into the new pets yet. At least I know now it won't be worth it. :/
