Back to my chronology of episode after getting derailed by Future!Cas last week...we are now onto 4x22 which is up there with my favourite Dean/Cas episodes ever and remains my favourite finale to date. Nurgh! Such a beautiful Dean/Cas episode! It's got everything - eye-sex, personal space invasion, long lusting looks, touching! I really need to re-watch S4 again. I miss the old Dean and Cas so, so much :'(

Dean tilts his head in to catch Castiel's eyes and draws him up to look at him Oh me too! I have a gif of it somewhere but I'm too lazy to look for it. Seriously I could watch that moment over and over again.

It truly does, it has everything and everything done so well, I adore it <3 I miss them so much too. I'm slowly rewatching as I screencap things, but yeah I miss how good they used to be.

I think I have a gif of it too...it's definitely one of those parts you can watch repeatedly and it never gets old.

I love how sad Dean looks after he tells Cas it's done and he turns around and Cas leaves. =( But yeah, the drawing his eyes up thing too.

I think Jensen has a very good acting face. Not just because he's pretty, but he can be very expressive with his face and he has a lot of different faces.

Oh god I know, that was supposed to make my list of things I love too. Cas breaks there and it's painful and beautiful all at once.

Oh I completely agree, I think Misha is completely on par with him here. They are both so good and the subtext between them so fantastic. I love it, I love them!

Yeah, Cas looks sad, but also Dean! It's a very...intense, telling scene, I think.

Oh, yes, Misha is fantastic with his facial expressions, and especially the very subtleness that he needs to play Cas. I think for that reason Jensen impresses me a little bit more, because he could play Dean very easily, but it's almost like...he puts more in Dean than he would really have to, if that made any sense.

But guh, yeah, the chemistry/subtext is so amazing between them. One of those things that makes me interested in the show, sort of like a Booth/Brennan kind of thing.

Agreed, there's so much there!

I completely agree, I think Jensen is a wonderful actor and he really throws himself into a scene and gives it all he's got and it pays off. I love the passion he has.

Their subtext is part of why I love it too (especially seeing as S4&5 are my favourites) and I think that's part of why I haven't been enjoying S6 as much (aside from other problems I have with it).
