Doctor Who was quite good, wasn't it? I quite like recursive loop/choose your reality-type episodes anyway, and a twist is a nice addition. ( Thoughts, trying to avoid spoilers... )
My son, at eleven, guessed that both "realities" were dreams! : )
I loved the twist, although I kinda guessed it was the Doctor himself. But I'm thrilled that some of ten's angst is still there, that he's not a completely new persona who has been able to put everything that went before behind him and forget.
Ha, good for him! Yeah, it is good to see some continuity there, enough that all the angst and misery of the specials had some meaning in a character sense and that he's still that messed-up guy underneath without it being constantly gloom all around.
I hear that Eleven's going to make an appearance in SJA, so there's some hope yet for other former companions!
