Doctor Who was quite good, wasn't it? I quite like recursive loop/choose your reality-type episodes anyway, and a twist is a nice addition. Apparently some people didn't like Amy's decision, but I read it more as a choice between two realities where accepting the current one as true would be unthinkable rather than can't-live-without-you suicide. (Which generally makes me very uncomfortable when glorified as romance, because... yeah.) The Dream Lord was very good, too. The whole thing was nicely played, really, and it's going to be an effective one to rewatch. "There's only one person in the universe who hates me this much"... The angst is still there with Eleven, isn't it, even if he doesn't wear it as close to the surface as Ten.
Which is a good thing. Ten's misery kind of went as far as it could, unless you wanted a Doctor who was as disturbed as the Master. Although after this episode, and that tag there in the end with the faces, you could argue that's not as outlandish as it sounds, even with Eleven.
