I think my iPod may be very unwell -- it's telling me it has an extremely low battery and then refusing to charge when connected because it says it's full. And last time I plugged it in, it asked me to reformat the iPod for Windows, to which I said thanks but no. This does not seem promising.

OK try this: leave it running for hours until the battery dies completely. Then try charging and see whether it works then.

Completely irrelevant sidenote: I can't see Rose Byrne now without thinking of Anakin/Dormé manips.

Normally that does work, but the poor battery is pretty well dead flat as it is at the moment, even if it keeps trying to convince me it's charged. I'm beginning to think that the problem may be with the cable not the iPod, because it's charging fine on my sister's wall dock. Bit of mystery why the cable will allow syncing but not charging, though.

I know, it's very sad. :p

I'm never sure whether to criticize Darksaber or give it credit for its audacity in making the whole "Hutts build a Death Star" plot turn out to be a giant shaggy dog story, with the thing proving to be completely nonfunctional...
