Email from Kyo

I tried hard to translate this email from Kyo, but it's just too difficult for me. I could get the idea, but a line-by-line was impossible. I translated the first part, the most important part, as best I could.

In reality, there are various unavoidable, unforseen problems that arise every day ( Read more... )

I didn't bother to transliterate it-- there'd really be no point. I doubt that anyone would be able to translate it if my coworker couldn't, being totally bilingual xD

in darkness... lol. You are special Kyo. Thanks for translating though :D I'm really glad they all seem so happy on this tour.

I really like the actual PV but the edit of the song is not that great. Then again, I don't think there is any good way to edit a song like Vinushka :\

yeah he's just adorable xD

That's what I mean-- the pv itself is fine, I just don't like what happened to the song. You can tell its building and building but it never gets where its going. Which is sad, because it's a fabulous song, but I don't think they're going to get too many new fans off of it. Toguro seems like the obvious choice for the next single-- but then that might be why it wasn't chosen, because they have a history of not always releasing songs that are "accessible" to the general public (The Pledge, for example, would have been a great hook for them). Maybe they don't WANT new fans xD

You know, I was kinda disappointed/bored with the Vinushka PV as well. And it's sad that the song was shortened! Merry did a freakin' 15 minute long PV that managed to keep my attention, I think Dir would have been able to as well. D:

Thank you for translating his message; it makes me feel glad that I didn't download the album when it was leaked. :D

I think Dir is really working hard to be TV- and radio- friendly with UROBOROS, so perhaps that's why the did that, but in the end both the song and the video are almost totally inaccessible. But yeah, I mean, it's not like anyone would get tired of looking at them for 9 minutes D:

NP :) I feel kind of proud that I held off on dling the album too xD I did give in and get the songs I'd heard live, but I could feel how epic it was going to be so I wanted to wait and experience the whole album as it was intended.

I think the epic that is Megahage is enough to satisfy me in regards to this PV. XD

I haven't had a chance to more than sit through bits and pieces of the album, but I admit I like what I've heard so far.

I listened through the first few tracks on the train today. It's not a really "accesible" album (meaning you get it all on the first listen) but more of a repeat album. It also seems to "be" Dir en Grey in a way their last album didn't feel.
