I'll Wine a Little Bit

Apparently there is such as thing as bad wine.  I yielded to an impulse and grabbed a bottle in CVS they way I usually decide:  look at whatever's in the middle of the top shelf and check the price to make sure it is low.  It was, smack in the middle and $7.99.

I am still feeling the effects of yielding late Sunday night.  But the label said "

buying an $8 bottle of wine from CVS and assigning any value to that purchase seems counter intuative to me. Why not just buy a bottle of Nyquil for $5 since the expectation of taste is equal.

If you want cheap, decent wine, go with Argentinian or Australian. Really cheap Californian or French wine probably isn't that good. Then again $8 for a bottle is by no means super cheap. You've got Trader Joe's, go get some Two Buck Chuck. Some people swear by it.

We get this a lot for $8-9/bottle.
