A decade ago the President told us how we may have to go to war with Iraq if there were no other options available.  As we amassed troops on the borders, we heard that there was still a decision to be made about whether we would start the war that we worked hard to bring about.  Did anyone accuse Bush of flip flopping on Iraq?

I concluded to stay with Romney knowing he'd probably disappoint down the road.  Whatever that would be, its lesser than the prospect of another term for Obama.  Therefore I made a political decision in politics to go with whom I think has a slightly better chance heads-up vs Obama.  Especially now that Ron Paul is falling back in line.

Lately when I click on a political or social newslink from yahoo I cut to the chase.  I read the title, then read what's in quotation marks to see if it actually agrees with the title, [often not].  Then I scroll to the comments to see free speech in action, and democracy in action since yahoo let's you vote comments up or down to the list ( Read more... )

We really needed you to nominate Romney and move on with it.  Obama was the only winner Monday night.  This also bodes worse for the general election as gunga_galunga 's state is probably the bluest of all the reds.

Sanctuary is on cancellation death row.  The season ended with no news on renewal.  The fans on the imdb say silence is not a good portent for another season.  I don't read any of the hardcore fanboys websites so I don't know their opinion ( Read more... )

Apparently there is such as thing as bad wine.  I yielded to an impulse and grabbed a bottle in CVS they way I usually decide:  look at whatever's in the middle of the top shelf and check the price to make sure it is low.  It was, smack in the middle and $7.99.

I think I will stop saying "something has to change" every weekend as I roll out of bed in mid afternoon.

Probably not a change back to hard alcohol although it would get the job done.  I now cannot get drunk off of beer because physically cannot hold more than one bottle per 45 min and that doesn't cut it.
