Thank the lawyers.  Now if you win in a square game they want to take it away on the grounds that maybe you were not supposed to be playing*.  I hoe the lawsuit gets dismissed.  In any case, a better idea is to play with cash only, and don't take too many notes on who was playing.

From the discussion on the BARGE list, it sounds like this game was raked, or they charged a fee to play and was therefore illegal.

Yeah they do rake them out there. I wonder if it matters whether the defendants were the ones raking the game. It is the same issue that comes up in whether playing online poker was illegal in Arizona.
