Have you/anyone else in this comm read it? It blew me away; even more so than her other books.

I haven't read it yet. I'll have to wait for the paperback (added to my amazon wish list "aimless consumerism" to remind me). But it sounds wonderful. The central character sounds exactly the sort of character I love to read, and written by an author who has a special talent for writing the people parts of fiction, so I'm looking forward to reading this novel very much. And, icing on the cake, one of the sub-themes is a theme I currently have a minor obsession with for various reasons.
