Attention students of my homeroom class.

Leave your cellphones in your rooms, or turn them off during class. Anyone using a cellphone or any other device during my class will have the item confiscated, and I will not be returning the item for a long time. Any student who back talks me will receive detention.

Are we clear on this?

Private to the faculty, excluding the Principal and Vice Principal. )

I... think a ban is a little harsh, isn't it? Maybe... they should just be asked to turn them off in class?

Mr. Townshend, with all due respect we need to show these students discipline. Simply telling them to turn off their phones won't do any good.

I agree with it, though I think a few of the staff members could do with a limit on use of their cellphones as well... setting a good example, after all.

Yes, that is a good point. Will you bring this up at the meeting?

Yes.

... Although with all the explosions and other troubles of late, I won't be surprised if it doesn't take priority.
