Day 7 - [ACTION] | [VOICE]

Well, it could be worse, I suppose.

Beside the whole 'not taking them off' part, I'm wondering if there's anyone who doesn't mind their costumes?

[Guess who is also in costume, Luceti?

Later on, Kouki will be out and about outside, looking around curiously at the change in scenery. Sometimes, he would pause to give people a second glance at their ( Read more... )

I suppose it is to be expected that I do not mind my "costume", given I cannot see it.

[Then again, she doesn't see any of them and only learned by word of mouth that anything had changed in Luceti.]

Although, these high-heeled shoes do make walking rather difficult.

I should hope not. A monster like myself is rather incomparable to a simple practitioner of sleight-of-hand tricks.

A monster?

Yes. Illusionists are creatures that must feed on the souls of other creatures to survive. [Which she says in about the most casual way ever.]

Wait, what?

I believe I made an announcement in regards to what I am a few weeks ago, though with all that goes on, I'm certain a few people must have simply missed it...

I probably missed it or something.

That seems likely, yes. Regardless, it is simply just as I have stated. I am a creature that feeds on the souls of others to stay alive.

And it can't be helped?

I'm afraid things would be far worse were I to try and avoid feeding. However, as dire as the situation may sound, as it stands now I am in no poor position. The process is actually rather harmless to the creature in question, and as such, there are many people here who have offered me assistance.

At least you'll be okay. What happens if you don't feed?

[He would offer, but the thought of the Bels makes him think otherwise.]

Illusionists have a constant hunger for souls. Regular feeding makes it far more bearable, but were I go to for more than a month, I would be consumed by my hunger and likely fall into insanity.

That's...sounds terrible. [The insanity, that is.] I'm glad there's some people willing to volunteer for you.

It would be far more terrible for those living in the village than for myself. An illusionist without sanity truly is a monster, seeing as it would be incapable of telling right from wrong.

Yeah, I can see how that can be bad. Can an illusionist return to normal?

Back to sanity? Yes, of course. As unfortunate as it is, I am speaking from experience in this matter.

Overall, it is a rather unpleasant topic.
