That is so sad and upsetting. I guess the government isn't working too hard to stop those thugs who attack innocent people :/

Well they made 50-ish arrests now, but I have a feeling they'll all be getting out in a month tops. Then we're really screwed.
Btw, have you seen the Batman and Joker graffiti? :) The anti-gay one says "we're waiting for you" and the two of them are replying "you're waiting for us?" *g* Sigh, I wish...

I'm actually surprised to have seen such media campaigns and so many public figures talk about this. Of course, not everyone was so positive about it. I just hope the media hike keeps up, instead of sweeping it up under the rug as usual. Real problem is the nazis are a minority - just a loud one with weapons :)

Viva la revolution!;)
*sigh* I can't even begin to imagine what a scale of human stupidity would even look like if anyone dared to measure it.
Get this...the Pride parade that was happening in our country went without a problem mainly because the security was top notch. Afterwards, when those who attended the parade gathered in their local bar the cops who were monitoring the area were called off because someone reported an attempted robbery on the other side of the city. For some reason *all* cops went and that's when the haters(I assume they were Neo-Nazis..) attacked the people at the bar. It turned out that one of them made the anonymous call to get the police away so they could attack them. Police, unless I missed something, naturally didn't comment why they called off every car even though they were supposed to be protecting the PP attendants even then. :P

We heard about the attacks in Ljubljana here :) The simple anwer is probably - they just don't like having to defend gays (or anyone else really, but this especially).
First gay pride here, they stood by and watched the bloodbath, at least now they're being restrained...
